Smoke Outlook from Cedar Creek Fire, September 13, 2022

Fire

The Cedar Creek Fire in Central Oregon is 92,548 acres with 0% containment. The fire grew 6,622 acres over the past 24 hours. We are expecting moderate to active fire activity today with cooler temperatures and higher relative humidity values.

Smoke

Areas near and to the east of the Cedar Creek fire will continue to have the greatest impacts today including Bend, Sunriver, La Pine and Crescent Lake. Expect at least some improvement in air quality this evening for these areas. Oakridge currently is experiencing moderate to USG air quality and expect these conditions to continue through the day. Areas to the west and southwest will experience good to moderate air quality.
