The Rosland Road fire was reported at 2 p.m. this afternoon. The fire is approximately 50 acres in size and is located near the Newberry Estates subdivision northeast of La Pine, Oregon. The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Department has declared a Level 1 “Get Ready” evacuation order for Newberry Estates. Two heavy air tankers, 5 engines, a 20-person hand crew, two hotshot crews, dozers and water tenders are assigned to the incident.
